James Hinkle is a videographer who runs the YouTube channel Echo Divers. Hinkle has long been interested in the missing case of Donald L. Erwin, a military veteran who went missing from Camdenton in December of 2013. On December 16, 2023, Hinkle flew a drone over a private pond in Southern Camden County, Camdenton, MO believing that he would find evidence linked to Erwin's case. After spotting a vehicle submerged in the pond, Hinkle contacted authorities. Rescuers would go on to recover Erwin and his vehicle. Erwin's family has been contacted.
